Hi All,

Could I get a few solid reviews on My Amazon Site

I've spent 4-500 getting things just right. I am spending a few more bucks getting some forum content that will hopefully attract others.

Anyway, here I'm cheifly concerned with the appearance, function, and the call to action areas of the site. Does it say nintendo wii to you? Does it make you want to shop and buy? Is it easy on the eyes? Etc.

Thanks a lot. Rep for all, except IntelBank. I've rep'd him too much already according to the board  :great:

Checking it out on FF 2.0.0.4 it looks great, nice job! :tu:

appearance
not much to say, it looks great.
I did notice a vertical blue bar between the content and the right side bar which looks a bit out of place. (FF 2.0.0.4, 1024x768)

function

I can't click on the images to view the details of the product.
(I usually click on images of products before I look for any buttons)

I can't click on the main "check out our accessories" banner

Clicking on view details just shows a bigger image.
I'm not sure if you have much control over this, but I would like to see:

- How many are in stock
- Avg delivery times (or maybe "dispatched in X days")
- A short blurb about the game
- A short review / quote

call to action

I'm not sure about the menu order - is "home", "forum", "news" really more important than the product category links?

The actual category links are good, a nice set of options for direct navigation.

have you heard of the "golden triangle" or "F pattern"? basically users will look:
top left - top right
mid left - mid right
left - down

I would consider:

- Moving the menu links which take you to product listings up

- Decreasing the height of the big homepage banner so that you can move more actual products up into the "F pattern"

- making the top banner a link to a very popular product, not a generic banner

Of course, everything is :imho:-, I hope there's something helpful in there ;)

Hehe, can't rep me anymore, eh? Does that mean i have to cease my reviews of your projects? ;) Oh yeah, i certainly accept MOTM nominations :hehe:

Ok, enough the smalltalk, onwards with what you have:

In simple terms: This is the best and most concise design yet. Everything is in place, you have all elements that a shopper could possibly be looking for AND you beef it up with a visually matching forum - kudos! smart move!

Great visuals across the entire site, even the large versions of the game covers are well done. But! it wouldn't be a true Intelbank review if i didn't have an improvement for you: Since we're already at web 2.0 and other youtube inspired terms, where are the game previews? Short flash videos that let the user preview a game for about 20 seconds? Something short, sweet and conducive to the buyers mind, as in - that looks cool on the cover and inside the game - i'll buy it. I'm not sure if that's a possibility and readily available, in terms of guiding the consumers perception and deliver virtual sales arguments, this should be a pretty crafty add-on.

Other than that and for the very first time: for a sales centric site, this is a solid: :tu::tu::tu: 3/3 well done!

Come to think of it, i think the reviewers should be able to nominate a "site of the month" from the review section...you'd have my vote!
