Regged this just yesterday.
Resistance2 is the new shooter video game being developed by insomniac games and there is a lot of talk about a beta at the moment. So I snatched this up in hope of it making a profit. What do you guys think?

I was thinking I would develop just the front page and make it look official.

How much do you think I could make off this?

I like name.com. I have a lot of domains registered at godaddy, but that's before i had problems with them and everyone started telling me "duh, they suck!" I've also used dynadot, and a couple others for one or two domains. I prefer name.com. Many people seem to like Moniker, though. I've never tried them, they seem pretty expensive.

I'm still kind of new to domaining and whatnot, but a name like that seems... well... not good. First of all, they probably have the name trademarked so you can't legally make money with it, or they'll go after you. They could hire a hitman, but they'll likely just sue.

Also, the name is kind of long and really has no relevance once the game gets past beta.

You may be able to use the name for something else, though. Resistance 2 Beta... maybe... Resistance to Beta? A site about not using betas? I don't know.

Yes, but you have to contact them and request it. Other registrars make it easier to get a refund within x number of days.

Stop using godaddy.

On godaddy when I press 'delete selected' it tells me that I do not get a refund if I delete the selected domain. Should I do it anyway then?
