I re-reg'd an old name of mine

I let the name blendwords.com drop about 10 years ago when I was reducing my Internet activities. I was a bit surprised to see that it was available, so I picked it up again. Blend words are sometimes known as portmanteau words, An example is freecycle.

Has anybody else picked up some of their old names for reg fee?

I have done that a couple of times. I've even bought back a couple of domains in Registrar Redemption. But all were a waste of time and money.

I decided that I would use a few domains to list various categories of names for sale - brandable, motoring, financial etc. I thought that blendwords would be ok for brandables and blog names.

Sounds reasonable, although I'd personally prefer brand in the name.
