Could I please get an appraisal on this name. Regged in "00" for what was going to be a "project". I have another low $$$ offer.

PCxTV.com (pctvx.com also)

I've passed up a few (5-6) low to mid $$$ offers over the years. Am I expecting too much (low to mid $$$$) or am I on track for the streaming media market boom?

Thank You

Hmmm...if you've had the domain listed for sale since 2000 (while deciding what to do with it), and if your highest offer is under $1000 in seven years, then I'd say, yes, you want too much.

On the other hand, if you listed it for sale within a year and have had mid-$xxx offers, you might break the $xxxx barrier.

Estimated Domain Name Value: $903.00 - from leapfish.com for both of the domains: pctvx.com and pcxtv.com

You are not asking much over it's value. I think you can get with more than 1000 $. Just wait for a person that really needs a similar domain. Or ... why don't you make a TV broadcaster on the internet ?

Ok, first and foremost. Leapfish is not a reliable tool for domain valuation, not even close. LeapFish is more for entertainment purposes then actual appraisals. So, Sava - please do not base your registrations off of what LeapFish tells you!! (for your own sake!).

In regards to this domain name - PCxTV.com - Im struggeling to find the value in the name. It doesnt quite make sense, and unless its getting some type in traffic (i only see 1 backlink) I would value this domain name at registration fee. Now, If I am missing something (which does happen from time to time) that might be, but if you realistically have an offer on the table in the high xxx range, I would jump on it!

Just my thoughts.

I think those are pretty generous offers. My opinion is that those domains are not particularly special and 5 letter dot coms are not that valuable. I have a 5 letter dot com since 1999 ( PCNYC.com ) and never had any inquiries, but I plan on using it for personal/business reasons. If you really have no plans to use the domain it would probably be wise to start negotiating with the highest offers and sell it. Consider yourself lucky to have gotten offers as high as that for that domain to begin with. Good luck.

Thanks every one....

I tend to place personal use values on names and have done so for years. This name like all of my portfolio have been parked for a little over a year at sedo and namedrive. I've placed a few for sale on ebay, over the years, but never really done anything with my names until I joined namepros late in "05".

The highest offer was over a year ago at $400. I simply refused the offer with out even a counter offer attempt. (n00b) The name responds best to adult content ads which we all know see about .04 - .10 cents a hit so no big income on them.

I'll refuse the low $$$ offer this time but wont refuse another $400 offer. Thank you for your input. adding rep.
