I have just finished this site www.book-scotland-direct.com and I want it to be placed within the top ten within the search engines.

I have not put any Meta data into my site or keywords and I have not yet submitted it to any search engines.

I found a site which offers a guaranteed placement within the top ten and they write all the codes for youhttp://www.123rankings.co.uk/prices.html

Do you think this is any good?

Also could any one help me on getting my site ready for search engines.

no it pry won't work, or there's a catch (besides the really expensive price) You could just submit it into yahoo and dmoz and other search engines yourself

Most of what is offered you can do yourself with a little research. What keywords do you want to place high with? The best thing you can do is build your link popularity under those search terms. That means getting your link on as many other sites as possible, with the keywords you want in the link.
