Could anyone point me in the direction of a decent/honest/reliable domain name broker?

Is there anywhere on Name Pros I need to be looking/posting?

I need to get one quick and sell of a bundle of domains quicker :)

All help welcome, thanks in advance.

Damien.

What can a broker do that you can't? A broker would list it on Sedo, afternic, ect and perhaps ebay. Maybe they would contact possible end users as well.

I thought about being a broker, but as a domainer aren't you already one?

Its true, theres not really much point in getting someone else to do what you can do yourself already and take a cut of the profits!
Theres nothing a broker will do that you shouldnt already be doing to sell your domains :)

Ummm

Not really.

Think about retail channels.

Manufacturer
Wholesaler
Distributor
Retailer

Registrars of course are the Manufacturer.

Most of us have so few domain names, we're like a retailer, selling a little bit of everything.

Wholesaler is likely the Sedo and Afternic of the world who have a ton of everything and sell in bulk amounts.

I think a Domain Name Broker would be a Distributor... with strong contacts between both Wholesalers and Distributors as to get the job done and move product quickly through the vast network they have built.

Just my two sense... and I wish I knew a broker!

PS - perhaps a GreatDomains.com would be a broker.... specializing in a niche... but they'd be on a larger scale rather than a individual agent. They're big and this guy wants Jerry McGuire... SHOW ME THE MONEY!

thanks guys! I thought that like trigatch4 says, they would have a much larger list of contacts and relationships and thought they could sell my domains quick and get a decent price for them.

My domains are listed @ www.DomainNameFinder.net - if anyone would take a look and give their opinion on them :)

A person with experience in past sales regarding negotiating and finding the right people because of their experience in dealings with other people in the domaining business can be a very welcome asset.
Also like you mentioned contacting end users is part of it and i would regard this as the lions share of being a broker.

So connecting with your end users in a positive manor and getting your message across in clear and fluently in the language of the intended end-users in a way to negotiate your way to a nice sale is definately a combined quality and talent what one should be looking for in a broker.

And this type of talent is not something anyone is equiped with.

Anyone can pose as a broker but can anyone really perform as a broker should?
Not everyone...

Each his own right? ;)
