For PeakTower.com. My problem is Im having some trouble comprehending this dudes voice. I also have the name regged at 1and1.com which I hope doesn't pose a problem. I placed PeakTower.com for sale here, but was wondering if its better to just hold off and try to get some kind of translator to work this mess out :td: I need you guys. :yell:

I didn't know PeakTower was a famous tower in Hong Kong. And with the Overture and Google now I see why. Guess I lucked up. But with 1and1.com, i'm shaking in my bone. Also, what is a good price to haggle Bingae (i think) for? :$: :$:

Get everything in writing

If you are having difficulty understanding this buyer, then I suggest that you negotiate via e-mail. That way, you can get your translations done with as little error as possible.

In any event, you say "$ USD" and he counters with $ USD. "$ USD" is the universal language.

I'd let him make the first $ USD offer. Then come back here and ask for everyone's advice.

Australia is right on target, maybe even more.

If you have never been to Hong Kong 'The Peak' is the must visit destination, the tram takes you up The Peak for a the best vista of the worlds most breathtaking skyline.

Apparently Peak Tower is undergoing massive rennovation at present, including the Madame Tussaurds Museum so I guess thats why they want the domain.

If you haven't already checked it out take a look at http://www.thepeak.com.hk/

There are some Hong Kong members here at Name Pros so I'm sure you will get some more assistance.

Be Lucky.

OMG~. So guys I'll just call him. Tell him to converse via email. And say I take any offers over $100,000. Is that too much considering I was asking $150 (lol) here!

You've got to assume it's the Peak Tramways Co. Hold out for some cash like the others say.

But remember, if it is Peak Tramways Co., they probably have a certain amount which is their limit, so don't be too greedy and lose a sell. However, if it's them, they should be able to afford more than $10,000.

Also, I just re-read your last post. Man.. don't be afraid of negotiation that's what this business is all about.

You guys really have alot of faith in the .com. Every extension is available including .cn and the .hk . Not to rain on the parade but I believe the expectations are way off.

List at Sedo, contact Sedo and ask for an appraisal (you have to pay) and let them know the situation.

Then email them in Hong Kong and tell them to submit their offer through Sedo for mutual protection.

I'm sure Sedo will then help broker the deal because the more it sells the more commision Sedo earns, and that takes a lot of hassle off of your hands.

Not at all. It is a the top tourist destination in Hong Kong and a top world destination.

If I had a website for an International Tourist destination I would sure want the .com

I guess that's why Hong Kong is so successful. They are not to tight to invest to be the best!!!

You would think they would atleast invest in their own extension aswell if they are that gungho on the success.

I'm not sure we know exactly who is making the bidding at present. Maybe it is http://www.thepeak.com.hk/ or The Tramway. It could also be an independent Tour Operator.

It could be a big sale!

Im away from home at the moment. My wife has called to tell me he's called several times, and wants the site asap. :) :) :)

I placed it for sale on Ebay and Hope that will boost negotiations, although I placed it for sale kinda low. Hell an American purchase will make this easier to sell anyways I think. I hope this was a good move! Thanks for all the help guys. :yell:
