Well i jumped in and purchased a new vbulletin publishing suite with forum/blog/articels

.....yipppeeeeee or so i thought ?

After only one day i have managed to somehow revert the forum back to the home page and i lost all the threads/boards, there is offically no forum .......which is what i initially wanted to purchase and the blog etc were just bonuses

Now i am guessing that somehow i have changed permissions or something like that but after many hours trying and also posting ont he vbulletin support forum ...... i am getting nowhere fast ??? bummer

So i guess i am asking if anyone has any suggestions or ideas on how the hell i get my forum back up and running

At this point i am happy to lose it all if it means i can start afesh

Does anyone know their way around a vbulletin admin section who can offer some sound advice because it really is disappointing to have paid for it to be installed and then to lose the forum within one day ???

Simply put if you click on the forum link it takes you back to the home page where at this point i cant figure out how to get the articles on the front ....whoas me

Any help much appreiciated indeed

I think the box/info below is my problem ,, i changed the setting to Music Forum then noticed the value had to be changed if i did this, would that make sense ?? and if that makes for the reason i have lost the blog section of this brand new site how to i get to the correct place to fix i wonder

After i noticed that i should have changed the value at forums.php because i am thinking if i rename that file/section it may come good ??

Does that make sense that because i changed the forum page title it does not now work even though i changed it back once i realized ???

This option allows you to set the script name of the page that acts as your forum home page. By default this will be 'forum' (meaning forum.php but you may want to call it whatever else you like for your own purposes.

If you change this value you must manually rename the forumhome PHP script to match the new value.
