I Deleted my Myspace!

I feel so free from myspace!!! I finally gathered up the will power to do it. It feels soooooo good. I don't even feel bad about all the work I put into getting thousands of friends and comments.

The main myspace pages could use a facelift, not to mention most of the cluttered profiles. Some profiles on that site take a day and a half to load, and I have a pretty good computer! Videos, songs, pics, text, backgrounds- the list of things they cram onto one page is endless!

Believe it or not I've never even been to myspace...not even once. Where I have considered joining is secondlife.com. Anyone ever heard of it?

I have a MySpace, only because everyone else I know has one. It's an easy way to keep in touch rather than juggling e-mail addresses, phone numbers, and catching someone when they're on instant messenger. Even if it's poorly designed, its basic function does exactly what it's supposed to do. I don't have anything against it. I actually used to be very anti-MySpace until I got my own. I'm mostly pleased with it; there are just a lot of error messages that pop up. It's nice to listen to music and find new bands on it, too.

well i see kids in the school talking about myspace, and how they are putting stupid pictures up there, and sending out stupid bulletins. Some girls that is their life, i mean they just go on it and listen to music, and comment, and they compete like who's myspace page looks good and who have more friend.

i think now it is like ... oo i have a ferrari and u dont .... myspace is too much valued and people are getting addicted to it. they don't do their hw and send out comments.

I have two myspace accounts. One which i use for my real friends which are around 22 or so ... these friends are my real friends who don't really live in my area so i use myspace to write them. most of them i have in my instant messenger so i can talk, but other just to show some love drop them a sweet note of hi.

And the other one i use is for advertising simply. (money)



I think myspace can be used in either way. People who hate myspace i don't see the point because it is doing no harm to you.

But it is harming the kids who are actually spending all their time on it.

Right, so MySpace's design quite frankly blows chunks, it's bloated and the majority of it's users are retarded. That however does not mean it's not functional. Last year if you had asked me what I was doing this week I would have told you I'd be hanging out in NP Chat for the weeks entirety. Myspace actually found me a couple good friends back then, and now those have lead to more and more in the physical world. Now I'm never home long enough to chat online. Now had I let myspace consume me, and it became my life, not just a tool, that would have been pretty bad.
