Did they approve you as an affiliate, or did you just apply?

As far as building a site, start by picking a niche market that you're interested in. Then, look for merchants that provide services related to that market. If approved by the merchant, simply copy and paste the affiliate codes they give you.

Good luck!

If you are looking for a script which can put the products directly with the affiliate links then there is none for CJ.

Moreover you will have to pay $'s to get the datafeeds from CJ.

A script for this has to be coded by hand. And as the datafeed format for each affiliate is different it is a headache as you will have to code the import function seperately for each and every affiliate you want to put the links for.

My Results was 0 for 2 months. And suddenly i started to make sales. People, parking domains is nothing near this. I got huge comission of xxx in dollar amount out of just one single sale. CJ, I LOVE YOU!

My advice would be that CJ is not for newbie affiliates. Choose something like Linkshare or ShareAsale. With CJ, if you don't make 1 sale in any six months period they close your account and you will have all inactive links over your site. They will not even reactivate it. The only way you can get a CJ account again if you sign up with different details and then you have to replace all of the links anyway with the new traffic links.

If you have little knowledge about getting traffic to your sites, CJ is not for you. I also heard bad things about CJ, like no sale conversion in spite of the number of traffic that a site gets, and even if the owner of the site clicks his own banner and purchase to test if CJ is cheating on their publishers, still it was considered a zero sale.

Yep, get some experience under your belt first with other programs and know you've got at least a few sites that convert or it will take weeks to start the whole process again (setting up everything both in CJ and on your sites) after they drop your account.

And sometimes individual advertisers within CJ won't take you back if you got dropped, although you can keep applying.

I testify to this through my experience with their Jamster program; zero conversions on a site making xxx monthly on adsense? C'mon. Waste of good ad space (actually poor ad choice on my part but go figure).

Commission Junction aggregates each publisher's total commissions earned each month from all advertisers that publisher partners within the CJ Marketplace, and if this amount exceeds the minimum payout, Commission Junction sends a paycheck (or direct deposit) in the publisher's designated currency.

Your check or direct deposit will be out after nearly 20 days from your last month

gugush , if you exceed your min payout so your next check should be out in these days..

- Login to your cj account then go to "Run Reports" then "Transaction Reports"
- in third table ( last one ) which titled "Current Balance (April, 2007)" check "Publisher Payments" .. this is your next check amount.

CJ locks in on the 10th (although sometimes it goes as far as the 12th or so) and then they will send the check or direct deposit on the 19th. Sometimes it takes them as long as the 26th or so to send the check out.

check out www.shareasale.com 's 'make a page' option. You can specify products from specific merchants to appear on a page, select the number of rows and columns for the page, whether to use a thumbnail or larger picture, etc. Press a button, and shareasale generates the html code for you. All you have to do after that is copy and paste the html into your site. It is an excellent way to add pages quickly to your site.

At CJ, jcwhitney.com had a nice option to click on, where you could basically generate the same effect as shareasale's makeapage. They have tons of car parts and auto supplies.

I would also suggest ShareASale. They are by far the best and reliable network that I have seen online.
