see this kinda boggles my mind. I understand that google results dont come up large, but having a word (wax) in a 4 letter .com would mean a great domain to have. Even the 'H' in it could stand for many things such as "Hot".... so hwax could be short for hot wax? plus with the 4 L's going for 80-100 bucks lately with bad letters, how could you justify this going for less? im just curious.... anybody else want to comment?

I think this may go a it higher than low to mid xx since it contains the english word "WAX" and has a couple of premium letters. I would think you could get low $xxx for it.

No offense please to vrtuant's "google results appraisals", but that is a terrible way to determine the price of the domain. It can be helpful in some situations, but all crappy LLLLs are selling for "low to mid $xx for it"

so do you think i should take an offer of $500 and sell it? i was offered this from a buddy of mine who owns a tanning salon. Im not sure if he would use it... but i wanted more since i paid around $100 for it a little under a year ago. I know i would make money on it, but i have no reason to sell it either. I could just hold on to it for many years and just see what happens with the market at that time.

$500 for HWAX.com is a great offer. The likelihood of you receiving an offer greater is slim, unless you happen to find a shop owner who sells hot wax looking for the specific 'hwax.com' URL. For that domain, which isn't straightforwardly pronounceable and contains only two premium letters, I'd take the $500 offer.

HWAX can stand for Hot Wax which is a big trend. People pay big bucks for Hot wax service (hair removal).
