BlogWilma.com—a “real” perspective of Hurricane Wilma. I am Adam Richman founder of BlogWilma, I am located in Boca Raton, Fl. An area expected to be “hit hard” by Hurricane Wilma. I will be Blogging throughout the hurricane, as long as I still have power/internet access. I will do my best to let those not in a effected region to have a “real” perspective on this Hurricane—because we all know the “real media” worries us, for their benefit. I lost power-- so did everything in like a 55 mile radius I heard-- including hotels such as the Hard Rock Casino -- I am trying to upload pictures of the devastation but dialup is taking forever-- I am in a pretty nice neighborhood and you should see the effects... Just got down to Miami where atleast their is power, and all that good stuff that comes along with it.. The entire area is devistated, almost all areas are still without power-- but lucikly grocery stores began to open-- backed by their generators.. So it is not like New Orlean's or anything where nothing was open and all that bad stuff... The estimates to restore power are terriable, but I figure its just a really off time to give them time to work with.. I drove by the Boca Raton airport a little tiny airport-- and 3 hangers were destroyed along with tons of upside down planes.... Curfew is at 8 so let me go hang out-- later tonight I will be posting tons of stories and stuff to that extent.. I will also be adding to the donor list.. Hopefully a few more of you can donate.. Anything helps and it comes with a free advertismenent to your website
