I like techie names in .net. There is no rational basis for this- it's intuitive.
Some time ago, someone on the High $$$ domain forum was selling byte.net.
Man, I haven't ever wanted a .net name any worse...

Anyway, I like this name and wouldn't be to terribly bothered by the .net.

Thanks for your thoughts. I picked it up because I see a great candidate for development. After all, I think almost everyone involved with the web in some way has used an html reference... I'm just curious if anyone thinks this has inherent resale value. I don't think that a year ago a domain of this stature would be so easily available IMHO

You got lucky and stumbled across a decent drop.
It has records dating it as a 20th c name (you can safely assume that- domaintools has archived records going to August of 2000, but I would bet my soul that this name is 20th c), just dropped March 31st of this year.

With 60K global and as dead-bullseye-term as you can get, you're doing good. It does have resale value.
I know this for certain because you reg'd it yesterday and I'll give you more than reg for it :D
