Whenever I think of development ideas, I come to NP and find out that I've only considered about 10% of the potential. My initial thought was to set up a video site with these areas for Real Estate Software TV:

Investment Software
Show demos of software to help investors pick the right real estate.
Walk-thru Software
Show examples of video to sell your house using walk-through video software.
Listing Software
Show demos of software that help potential home-buyers find the right home or apartment.
Property Management Software
Show demos of popular property management software
Training
Show videos training the user in common real estate software as above
Review software packages
Rate different software packages and present reviews


Other than selling Real Estate software directly, can you see any other money-making potential in such a site? (I'm hoping that with such a descriptive generic name that RealEstateSoftware.tv would rank pretty good with the proper SEO).

when we sold our last home on our own, it went fine, but it would have been nice to have something to watch to easily show how to sell for sale by owner- there is alot involved, and as long as you follow all the steps, you can be ok- but something like that i think would do well

Thanks, Smash, you always have good ideas. I suppose I could include videos to assist both the buyer and the seller.

I'm sure there are videos taking a potential buyer through a house explaining what to look for, such as slab problems, cracks, water seepage, water stains, fresh sheetrock jobs, roof problems, etc.

When expanded to commercial buildings, such a site could potentially bring in some decent money.
