.tv How .tv stacks up

just an interesting look at how .tv stacks up.

i've been having some fun with google trends and wanted to see how the different tlds ranked against each other. taking into account that .biz and .info are both 'global' tlds - .tv is still winning and only getting stronger (notice the .info 'free giveaway' spike towards the second half of 2004).

I laughed hard when I saw that .tv is really doing good in Montreal, Canada. Region wise Morocco tops.

On other note, .TV should be a gTLD, imo, just based on the letters TV's sheer recognition globally.

even in the USA .TV has a very nice lead against both .info and .biz
