How to upload Php module in Joomla

hi guys how to upload php module in joomla i tryed to install but its not getting uploaded so plz tell me how can i upload a php module so i can use php in joomla...If you know plz tell me clearly....thanks in advance for replying....

you can add embeded php code using the inbuilt editor into the template index.php file. You normally CAN NOT add php to a MODULE and you SHOULD have no reason to do so.
