How to Setup Https:// Pages

Can someone tell how to make a https:// page ?

for example a site is http://abc.com/test

it should be https://abc.com/test

If you have right to request for shared ssl, you will have an ssl link on cpanel home interface where you can generate a crt request and key
Then send an email to the host to install the certificate for you using their "whm" providing them with the key and other detials as is provided from cpanel

K i send them a support ticket asking for the steps and things needed for setting https page if i get a reply i will ask send them this info that u provided . Hoping the support team there is smart enough to handle it.

Ok thanks for ur help guys but i guess it wont be possible for me cause after a weeks time i got a response sayiing i would have to get ssl certificate for 70 $ so i guess i will just live without https ...

i bought mine for 25$ goto http://registerfly.com/ssl/. its pretty easy to setup just gotta have some common knolage about server stuff.

You can generate a certificate for yourself and use it without caring for the warning. But it really depends on where/why you want to use SSL.

Generating a certificate yourself is easy, just Google it. I did it and my host had no problem accepting it.
