Yes, it's very easy.
You will need the Account Code of the person you are pushing
the domain to.

The account code is found directly below the domain list.

I don't know if the domain has to be Unlocked but you may
want to unlock it just in case.

1.Log in.

2.Click on "Account"

3.Unlock the domain.

4.Under Control Panel Account Settings (on the right side),
click on "Account Transfer"

4.Enter the domain(s) being transferred

5.enter the Account Code.

6.Check the WhoIs boxes if changing the WhoIs.

That's it!

Thanks Tricolorro,

I got an error message something along the lines of the name being registered
for 5 days. I'll go back and try with your info.

Thanks,
Cal

Chandan that's surprising because that info is not included in their FAQs.

I wonder why the 5 day rule exists.

From: https://www.name.com/faq/faq.php#8c

"c. How do I transfer a name between Name.com accounts?
For the Recipient / Buyer:

1. If necessary, create a Name.com account.

2. Give your "Account Code," located on your "Account Management" page just below the list of your domains.

For the Donor / Seller:

1. Log into your Name.com account.

2. At the "Account Management" page, click on the domain name that you wish to transfer.

3. Under "Domain Management" in your Control Panel, select the "Account Transfer" option under Domain Management in your Control Panel.

4. You can bulk transfer your domains by typing in your other domains after the original shown in the transfer box.

5. Enter the Recipient's / Buyer’s Account Code, checkmark the applicable contact types, and click "Submit."

The Transfer is all set! Your transfer activity will be completed within 24 hours."

I have never used them so yes it was a guess (hence the question mark)

I don't think they allow tasting. Perhaps an official will answer this ;)

I don't think so. Unless, and untill the domain expires we can't go for the same domain name which is already exists and live in the market. This will even lead to the fraud.
