How to monetize a domain whith thousands of indexed pages in SE

I registered an expired domain www-website.info. Now, how can you monetize a domain which has 29,475 indexed pages in Yahoo.

First off, don't park it b/c you'll lose all those links. Develop a minisite with content related to the original page and make sure it's SEO-friendly. Monetization via Adsense is a good option.

Yeah rfm, thats seems to be the best alternative. I too recently purchased a 4 letter domain zcdm.com and it has almost 900 pages indexed. Trying to find how best to monetize it. Any other ideas most welcome.

Do you guys register expired domains with hundreds of indexed pages in search engines?

Techie, in my case, I hadn't even bothered to check indexing results before buying the domain. Anyway, the past indexing record does not help. Because most of the previous traffic is dead. Whatever is left, will stop too, unless the domain is properly monetized with visitor retaining content. And no, I don't buy domains based on indexing, I'd rather buy a domain with established traffic, which reduces the effort of building traffic from scratch.
