I think he meant natural searches.

I think the simplest answer for you kamilkb, is backlinks. Get lots of them. And make sure they have your proper anchor text.

And more importantly get Relevant backlinks ;)
Meaning from pages with content that is relevant/related to the page the backlink is linking to.

I think the main thing is just a good idea, I had one and get 1k+ views a day on site that has been up for 4 days! I will not disclose what that idea was but it did involve forums :)

I may make a ebook on how I did it! A good idea is all it takes!

Type-in traffic, and traffic driven by search engines, this is what is called natural traffic.
And I wonder if it's possible to gain free unnatural traffic? :-/

Create articles and submit them to "Article Directories".
You'll add a signature to your articles with a link to your site.

Other webmasters will use them in their sites including your signature
with the link to your site.

This way you'll get tons of backlinks to your sites.

The more backlinks you get, the better you can rank.

If you're lazy and don't want to create articles follow my sig.
and you'll find a software that will do it for you.

Good Luck.

Question

I am a noob! Please forgive me. . . . . .

WHen you exchange a link with another relevant site in an attempt to create organic traffic how do you effectively put the link into your website?

Do you just mention it in content and then its there for good?
Do you create a spot for links?
Is it possible to exchange links in code where they are not visible to click execept through a specified /links.html

Much appreciated. Great thread

The website you receive a backlink from needs to put this up.
Example: Your site

This above link is a backlink to Google.

In regards to your second question,

Preferably you want a backlink from a page with relevant content that is related to the topics on your page and not from a page called links.html
This would clearly indicate a link derived from a link exchange which Google doesn't value well if at all.

If the link is permanent depends on what you have agreed upon and in most cases if it's natural it stays there for a long time.

Ps - I stopped by your ebook site and clicked around a bit to get some good reading. . . . Thanks for the help.
