...advertising my two websites for as little as possible? Now, I know it's not going to be cheap if I really absolutely want traffic but I can't afford it. Seriously, look at my age, even if I was to get a job I'd get crap pay for being under 18 (and I couldn't if I wanted to cause of study, I'm on a benefit but get paid little to nothing).
I am the owner of one website and the co-owner of another. Both are pretty much managed by me however.
One is The Debating Arena and as should be obvious, it's a community forum about debating. My mate told me to go onto random chat rooms and start arguing and tell 'em to go to my site if they want to prove me wrong, lol. This doesn't sound that bad but do I really want angry members who just want to argue with one of my opinions? I want friendly members, not agressive ones if at all possible.
The other is Glitches Exposed, a website dedicated to exposing the glitches of video games. It's already got a over 100 glitches on it, adding more tonight of course (add more around everyday) but again, no active members. I have no ideas on how to advertise this one.
Word of mouth doesn't work, as most just ignore what my links now. I have a link to my sites in every forum I'm an active (or fairly active) member of. Sometimes I get traffic from that, other times I don't (mostly the latter).
I was never good with advertising. I don't mind paying for some but I can't afford it even though I wish I could as it'd probably make my life much easier. I wouldn't use Google AdWords though. Why? Well think about it, how many of you just ignore Google Ads now? Have any of you gotten used to them, I know I have. If I won't click Google Ads and most of my mates won't, why the hell would somebody else? Sure, people do, but most just ignore text/image ads like they do popup ads.
All help is greatly appreciated. All I want is information, not an arm nor a leg. I hope I'm not asking too much...
