How to find out if a domain is trademarked?

I just found a 7 letter .us domain name that is free but im not sure if its trademarked or not because I saw a bunch of articles in the new york times that has the keyword in their articles?

None of the above sites are any good. A company doesn't need a US trademark to file a UDRP. They can have a trademark anywhere in the world.

Taken to the extreme, they don't even need a registered trademark to win a UDRP case.. But all you can do is lookup the US and European Trademarks, so that you have checked the most usual places. But you can never be 100% sure.
