How to find a typo domain?

how do people find the typo domain names?

Take an example, the futureready.org generated great traffic in the last few months because the contests required voting from the parents and students.
In order to win the prize, the parents and students organized to use computer
labs and used starbucks coffee hotspots to vote. The top five schools all had 700K votes, that must mean a lot of typo traffic because kids can not type well with their little fingers.

So for this example, how can you find a good typo? The obvious typo is
futureready.com, but it is already taken. Any other names? The overture
shows many keywords that contain "future ready"

when a domain contains only one word, its much easier to find typos, because you just have to search in google for it. Lets say you want to find typos for Dubai, you type in Dubay and you see 319K hits and after 4 url's with Dubay its written under them "See results for: dubai", then you know you got a good typo.

Write the domain, find the typos! Afetr you go tthe typos you could check manually(sucks) the backlinks or if they have OVT+ext! The typo with the most links/backlinks should be registerd!

I usually just switch the letters around and then type the typos in Google to see how many results there are. Usually I pick the one with the most results.
