.mobi How To Differentiate IP from Mobile or PC?

I am planning to develop another mobile site.
When mobile users browse the site url it redirects to mobile friendly site.
When pc users browse the same site url it redirects to normal site which is not mobile friendly.

How to achieve this? Thanks

Hmm, it is a bit more complex than that... what you have to do is use PHP, Java or any programming language to detect the HTTP HEADER of the navigator, then you check to see if it is mobile or web, then you use URL redirect. :blink: The IP of course will be always the same, so you can not rely on that for detection.

You can't do it based on IP address alone, because some of the new mobile devices (iPhone included) use regular wifi networks. We have to rely on reading the browser reports on.
