How to create these water proof navigation button graphics?

Hi Folks,

Can you tell me how these folks made the navigation buttons they are using?

They look like water proof buttons on an underwater camera. I don't know how they got that rounded background look.

I have Photoshop and Illustrator CS2 to work with.

Looks like they may have a background layer with a huge bevel and emboss

yep, its a lot of bevel and emboss, makes it almost round.

Yes, it is, that is fairly easy to create. Just search guide sites for bevels.

The level of bevel and emboss is 10 for them buttons in case you wish to replicate :p
