The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Could be but I am not a lawyer so I really don't know. IP law is complex.

I like the feedback that people are interested in a GoDaddy Logo on the landing page. It is something we are seriously looking into. I hope our design team comes up with a better looking one than this though :)

There is not but that is part of what we are looking at as well on the new landers we are working on. No one likes the domain split like that. We will have a solution.

It would be great to use Afternic/Godaddy nameservers without ads
Please create a Godaddy landing page like this (without ads, URL forwarding is not allowed for me only nameservers):
my-cloud(.)org has Uniregistry Market nameservers not domain redirect please look at this

Thank you
you can do that now just point the name servers to ns3 and ns4.afternic.com. You can see an example by looking at BostonFall.com

GoDaddy is undoubtedly more widely recognized than Afternic. For this reason, GoDaddy branding will likely instil more confidence in potential buyers.

I love that it's in the works!

Not here :) and not only that I dont see the domain showing name servers when I ping it nor did I when I tried an hour or so ago using a third party as well. And anyway It is not a lander we make so they probably hacked something together in photoshop or something.

nslookup www.needy.com
;; Got SERVFAIL reply from 172.31.250.11, trying next server

Server: 172.31.250.11

Address: 172.31.250.11#53

** server can't find www.needy.com: NXDOMAIN

It shows up here, but I'll assume GoDaddy does not own that landing URL so it's a hacked together page like Joe mentioned.

I'm seeing the lander as well.

A WHOIS search shows that their nameservers are ns1/ns2.awesomedomains.com. It's a hacked together landing page.

Wouldn't banners from an affiliate program (with or without affiliate code) work better? At least it is what they were developed for - to be shown on third party websites.

Joe, what is current status of GD affiliate program? Is it still outsourced to 3rd party (commission junction I think)? Last time I checked (without joining), the program did not pay for aftermarket sales (which is fine, I have no intention to receive a cashback /sort of / from my auctions or premium listing sales anyway), but if I have my own domainsales website - which may (or may not) promote my GD premium or auction listings - I'll gladly use affiliate code to receive %%% from other purchases happening as the result (such as from hosting package if the buyer purchased it together with my premium or auctions-BIN listing). Just an example...
It is still commission junction that runs it for us. The terms should be there. If you cant find the answers let me know privately and I will give you an email address you can ask, but you would have to be signed up through commission junction.

good point.. why didn't I think of just asking you to change the afternic logo to godaddy long on that link I gave above.. on your original current afternic lander..

or to show both logos if absolutely necessary...

it would be appropriate too I think.. as godaddy and afternic are genuinly connected..

what do you think?

here is your current for sale page:

https://www.afternic.com/forsale/ezyt.com

I think most/all would appreciate such a change.
It's something we are very seriously considering.

You can tell its not a real Godaddy page because it's not cluttered with other stuff to distract from the domain name owner's sale.

This hypothesis surely will work. Is Afternic advertising on the SuperBowl? I don't think so! Godaddy already sell premium domains on Godaddy. It does not seem to be damaging the Godaddy brand at all.

Really excited for these updates. Any tentative timelines you're willing to share?

Looks a lot like the ns3 and ns4.afternic.com landers. I haven't seen it with GoDaddy branding before. Interesting. Keeping an eye on this thread!

I use ns3.afternic.com and ns4.afternic - but it's still showing the Afternic logo. The Godaddy logo would be great!

@address could you possibly message me the domain? Perhaps @Joe Styler could have an answer.
