How my domain name describes itself?

hello,

Sorry to bug you, but I'm in need of help.

I'm not a native English language speaker and I've come up with the idea for a website (nothing new, simple and old).

Could you please comment if the domain I've come up with describes it's content clearly?

destinationlog.com

It meant to be a travel blog where I post info on the interesting places.

Basically, I'm afraid that search engines pick up words destination and log as something that is computer related.....

Is this something that I will be able to resell later? I noticed that GoDaddy appraisal is relatively high on this domain... .

What do you think, Gurus? Should I be wasting my time with it or try something else, more keyword related to the field.

If you like it,you can buy it. As I said ,it is looking bad,,I checked old 10k sales ,no similar sale there,check if you dont trust me.

Turrican, no offense, but you don't seem to be a native English speaker, so I'm not sure why you're trying to dissuade the original poster.


"DestinationLog.com" is a perfect domain name for a blog about travel.

"Blog" is a combination of "WEB" and "LOG", so WebLog = Blog.


Many explorers and famous travelers kept a "Log" of their actions, and anyone going anywhere has a "Destination".


So essentially to repeat myself, "DestinationLog.com" is a great domain for a blog about travel.



Now if you asked me if I thought it was worth a lot of money, that would be different. My recommendation here is ONLY regarding the fact you want to use it for a website.

Resell would be low unless you get a lot of traffic and make the website great BEFORE selling.

Also, don't trust automatic appraisals too much. They are done by computer systems and not people. You need a real person to get a real appraisal.
