If one was to sell sex toys which style of name is better ?

One that describes what your selling like

adultsextoystore.com

or one that is more brandable like say

intimatekitten.com

These specific names are not the point but the style of naming.

I am looking at this from the point of view of search engine to marketing to ease of rememberance etc.

TIA

I would suggest always go with the generic.

Branding costs money with no guarantee of success. Spend some of that cash on a generic name with type-in traffic.

ditto, no one will search your store name until it's branded and known which costs advertising money, people will search sextoystore etc... everyday.

I agree with them.

but since you wanna start your online business, I think its great, and just go ahead and give it a try. Who knows you might end up being successful.

If you are asking, which is better

adultsextoystore.com
In my opinion, its a little tooooo longgggggggggggggggggg..
but definitely has a direct meaning across your users.

intimatekitten.com
i prefer this domain, its more brandable and short, and easier to remember.

Good luck with your online business venture.
don't give up, do your best.

God Bless.

search engine: the one that describes, particularly if its not well established (even with a high ranking, people with not click on a brand they've never heard of, but a descriptive title they might)

marketing: in many ways is synonymous with ease of remembrance

ease of remembrance: brand name

type-ins: the one that describes, unless its a well-known brand

prestige: the one that describes, IF AND ONLY IF it is short and sweet and unique, otherwise brand
