.tv How much would US State or Country LL.TV go for?

If you have a US state LL.tv or highly developed country like France (example: FR.tv <- Not mine), how much would you let the domain go for?

Also, as a domain name investor, will you be willing to hold it for some time despite its premium reg fee?

You can check the sales thread for the sales prices, I have a few US state LL.tv's, tx.tv, ma.tv, fl.tv, sc.tv and nc.tv and country .tv's, de.tv (Germany and also US state), sa.tv (officially Saudi Arabia, but South Africa is more commonly used), sm.tv (San Marino and adult term) and fi.tv (Finland).

Every .tv investor is different and, provided I do not need the money, I will not sell any of them (let's say not less then 6 figures) as I'm sure to develop them sometime and mainly as I'm just a sucker for LL.tv's, simply 'love' them, especially GEO orientated ones.

nice LL collection. I'm glad I actually bought LL.TV ;) It does stand for something... but that's another thread, it's not a geo-though.

to help answer original poster:
I also own a geo LL.TV, and the offers are stacking up. I thought my highest offer of $35K was a shocker, but now another real-world media company is offering nearly double that amount. Will I sell? No way in hell. More money in development, but from a reseller perspective, the ROI would be amazing. So, are geo LL.TV's worth it? Depends on if you are a reseller or developer, and how long you are willing to keep paying the high premium renewal fees.

Good luck.

Although you are not selling, this is good info, nice offers.

It surprises me sometimes that a potential buyer comes from a totally unexpected source. For example, I had two interested parties for sa.tv and none of the interest was from the obvious, Saudi Arabia or South Africa. LL.tv's have many possibilities, think it's one of the best ways to invest in .tv.

very true and hilarious sometimes. I was going to post my geo LL, but might as well, I believe I posted it on here before...

AC.TV

perfect for Atlantic City, which would be easy to develop and monetize. $35K offer was from a GEO media company, $10K offer from Air Conditioning Industry (LOL), $7K+ offer from a "A???????? Channel" company, and largest offer from a totally different media company building a site fro Atlantic City.

not truly LL, info... more along the lines of GEO info... but I also own SouthBeach.TV and have had many offers from every industry ranging from Media, Real Estate (multiple), Nightlife, Entrepreneurs, Lodging, etc... wide appeal, so I can only imagine how many offers will come in for other LL domains.

btw, you only beat me by a few seconds on this one...

It's indeed hard to guess which companies can be interested in a particular LL.tv. The main interest for sa.tv was from a Norwegian newspaper I had never ever heard of. No offer was made though as it was not for sale, although they mentioned they will offer a 'more than reasonable amount' if I change my mind.

Sorry for beating you on sm.tv :)

I actually thought the 'beating' and 'sm' was kind of catchy indeed :D

Didn't thought anyone would notice though, maybe the fact you did tells us more about you then you would like

(just kidding of course)

I only own 1 USA Geo related LL.TV which is LI.TV currently being used in relation to LongIsland.tv, i consider this to be the best name in my portfolio and to answer the OP's question, it would take a huge amount of money for me to part company with this name.

Good LL.TV are a great investment. imo

Wow, you guys have deep pockets...$10k per year. Are you guys able to cover the renewal fee base on the name's revenue or just holding out for the sale? :o

So far it's still an investment or expensive hobby, the payoff will be later by selling a name or what I hope and prefer is ad income by developing as I'm focussed on that right now.

Good to hear that LL.tv is a sound investment.

Some of you here have incredible LL.tv domain names :)

I plan on purchasing more LL.tv as I see .TV constantly growing in popularity and rising in value.

Unfortunately my pockets are not that deep :) I was fortunate enough to pick li.tv and ni.tv up for $1k per year, so i am able to hang on to then for as long as need to , i think nearly all the best letter $1k per year ll.tvs have now gone ,leaving only the $10k per year ones available.

It is like a wise Nper once said to me, with only 676 available and a lot of them either meaningless letter combinations or $10k per year, the good $1k ll.tvs represent a solid investment .
