First congrats if you own that domain. Second, looking at the recent sale of 6N 345678.com , $150K, I would say 3 million is a fair price.

    Excellent domain name!

To an investor, it's liquid at $3-4 million.

To the right Chinese end user, I'd say $5-8 million.

20.com was sold at 75,000USD in 2006 according to Namebio.
Now it worths more than 3 million. How could I get a time machine back to ten years ago.

I would say its $5M+ domain if you get the right buyer. I hope an enduser gets this domain, they can pay you more.

Welcome to NamePros @jason calacanis - I first asked this question on my blog about a year back and there was some interesting chatter about the domain and it's value at the time. There's no question that the market for numeric .com's has exploded since then. There haven't been any recent, reported 2 number .com sales but i'd say the name is worth north of $5M in today's market.

Are you still sticking with this plan?

"@doronvermaat I already told brokers I will only sell to a buyer I meet face to face with... I want to invest in the company the build."

I think the best way to value it is to ask several high-level brokers, without any commitment, and average that.
It would also create some pre-sell buzz... I'm here to help if you need.

    You are incorrect.

Giuseppe Graziano's latest newsletter reported the following on Dec 15, 2015:

As you can see, the floor price for a two-number .com (if it contains an undesirable 4) is $900K.

Since 20.com does not contain the number four, the floor price is much higher.

He posted he doesn't want to use brokers so that changed.
He posted he wants cash or cash/stock so that changed.

The idea of investing in someone just because they buy your name seems odd. They may want to start 20dollarshaveclub or something..

Perhaps he just wanted to stoke interest in a name at a domain forum to get the word out more than he has already? Everyone throws numbers around like they have the money and it's nonsense based on random guesses and comparables in an industry with little transparency.

    As for the poll :
    How much is 20.com worth?

It's worth less than $3m but he's marked $5m as his "desire" point (as in don't bother waking me for less) so it won't sell for less.

Some idiot investor will spend more but some idiot investor will always find a some bigger idiot with more money until they don't Then that final idiot sits hoping that some big company with more money wants it.

Everyone towards the bottom will be lampooned as lacking foresight and the last person to profit will be seen as a genius... someone in the middle will be neither but the source of jealousy :)

It's the way domaining works :)

    Estibot says it's worth $ 1,030,000 USD !

Since when has estibot ever been wrong about domain values? ;)

I voted $3m just because it was the lowest alternative. IMO It shouldn't reach $2m.
If you got this domain in 2006 for $75k, you should be happy for even less than $1m

He's clearly not investing in whoever buys the domain. The idea has to be right and then a cash/equity deal would take place. Otherwise for the right price the domain is 100% sold.

He's stated that more than 1 offer of $3 million has been presented. It's worth that at least. The domain is so rare that the ask could be $10 million or more. That said, to move it now, $5 million is a very obtainable sum to fetch.

What something is worth and what someone is willing to pay/receive are not the same thing =)

If someone is willing to pay $3m doesn't mean that everyone will.
The domain is not that rare to ask for $5m IMO.
    Anyway, will see.

Who cares if everyone will pay what someone else offered. The fact remains that someone else made an offer of $3 million, making it worth at least that.

If this domain isn't rare, a NN ending in zero, what do you consider rare? There's a handful of these in existence and only one being offered for sale at present. This is extremely rare and worth many millions.

It should be purchased and branded as 2.0 IMO.

Keith, we are talking about millions here not thousands. Read again my post regarding what I consider rare. There have been lots of rumors in the two character dot com domains, and I don't recall any huge sale of $5m or even near to this amount.

I'll assume you're not privy to every sale but how many NN sales are reported and at what prices?

Fb sold north of $8 million, NN.com over $2 million. Most of these don't get reported, like 50.com for example. Every LL is selling for a minimum of $1 million. Now take a NN which is more rare and more valuable.

This domain is worth whatever a buyer will pay. Could be $3 million as offered but I suspect we'll hear something close to or over $5 million.
