spending money advertising your site?

I am getting 160 unique visitors a day- interesting thing (to me) is that 75% of those are from bookmarks or direct type-in traffic. It's not a generic domain name- I just think that people visit the site and are impressed enough to bookmark and re-visit regularly. With this in mind I am confident I can increase the number of uniques substantially over the next year or two. Thus, at that point I will be looking to make some return on the time invested.
dezinerite said:I agree with the others, quality of your site's content is very important. If the content is good, the visitor might keep coming back and might even recommend the site to friends. That should get you more page impressions as well as unique visitors. I think you need about 10'000 unique visitors for high-paying advertisers to take you seriously. But Adsense won't let you down if you know how to use it well.![]()

Would you need 200 visits, 2,000, 20,000???
Many thanks for any info.
