How Much Traffic Can I Handle

I recently purchased a dedicated server with a 10mbit connection and 2000 gb bandwidth.

Here are the hardware stats:
AMD Athlon 2100 Processor
1GB Memory
60 GB Hard Drive

My question was how many static page requests can I handle per minute (including some 2-10mb files being downloaded) and if I added forums how many pages would it be cut down to being able to handle. By handle I mean not noticeably have pages load slower.

First of all what's the averag size of your static pages?

Adding forums can make a difference if they are going to be very active. If they are I'd cut the static page amounts in half.

For the static pages lets say each page is about 12 KB

12 KB = 0.01171875 MB
1 GB = 1 024 MB

1024/0.01171875 = about 87381 page views per GB
87381 * 2000 = 174,762,000 page views per 2,000 GB of bandwidth

Cut it apart from there for the files and the forums. You would most likely need to upgrade your RAM to not see much of a different in speed.
