How much to charge for text link?

I had an email today asking for annual rates to put text links on my site. I've never thought pricing for links but since they asked...

The site gets only about 20 uniques / day - some type-in but mostly SE. However, the traffic is very focused. I did originally put up a links page, but it only has a few basic links and I never followed through on soliciting links for $. Page Rank 2 with 220 incoming links.

So... question is, how much does one charge for a text link on the links page and how much on the home page?

TIA

it's not too much traffic, but the fact that it's all natural is good. given that and the pagerank of 2, i'd say somewhere between $30 - $50 sounds about right for a decent placement on the homepage. the final number is up to you of course, and you should look at what the site is that you're linking to, and whether you're comfortable with it, and where it goes on your site.

pr2 for $30-50? for 20 uniques/day?

are you serious?

I have a pr6 website and I sell one of my links for $60 and I get about 50k uniques+/month. And my traffic is really focused as well. I realize I sell it for a little cheaper than what it is worth but for a pr2 for $30-50 is unrealistic. I would say $15-20 at the most if that.

I would charge more than that!! 300 bucks or more(unless you have a directory site)

shockie's suggestion is a realistic one.

Domination, you are definitely selling to cheaply.

and food, that is far too expensive for a pr 2!

I would suggest the lower end of the $30-$50 scale.
You could always perhaps lower it to get the attention of a wider audience (those that dont wish to pay that much).
Money is money, right? And it's only a text link :P

I know I can sell one of my pr6 links for at least $100-120 no sweat but coming back to the point of pr2 for $30-50, unless it is extremely quality traffic and the relevancy is cannot get any better I don't see how I would personally pay that much for a pr2.

To me, a relevant pr1 is better than irrelevant 5 pr5s.

Also what are your inner pages ranked and how many pages will the link be displayed on?

I charge only $10 a link as i have about 300+ uniques per day...

I think, since it has a pr of 2 with low uniques daily, you can expect $10-15 monthly.
However, if you have quality incoming links, and higher SERPs. Then it can extend till $20-$25. At least I would have paid that much. :)

that's quite a lot... my $30-$50 is an annual rate, so about $2.5-$4.15 per month. it's based on my own experience of about $5/month on one of my pr3 niche sites with 50 unique views per day.

the niche your site and its relevance to the advertiser can also add value to the link.

Well, it actually, depends, I have seen sites, with GREAT rankings and with no PR...that increases link value.
