The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

BM8 ,clearly asked for help for a 3 number .net
Steven12, So Rambling on about a 3char .net like www.net is pointless

Now I will explain to you the concepts of tokenised descriptions

"N" Means a Numeric digit "0"---"9"
"L" Means a Letter "A"--"Z"
"C" Means a Character "A" ---"Z" , "-" , "0"--"9"

So NNN.net Means a domain name that is in the range
000.net ---- 999.net

Wow, all NNN domains are gone in the big six extensions. I never knew that.

Obviously someone thinks they have value, but I'm not sure how much that would be. Try searching for similar sales in the past, and look at the prices. That's the best way to establish fair market value for something like this.

Asking a question like this is like asking, "How much should I pay for a 3-bedroom house?". Nobody can answer your question without knowing the domain name and even then you won't get an exact answer.

Is the domain something like 911.net or is it more like 617.net?

they are worth because they are easy to remember.
The more easier or the more meaning it has, the more value you got.
