domain How much I should ask for? Unusual situation. Emd. Com

Hi friends,
I own Emd. Com while big company from Germany owns 6 other tld's of the same name.
They have the org, net, info, De, cc, biz.
The problem is that they maybe the only end user for this domain but I sure they really want it.
How much I should ask for? Xxx, xxxx?
This is something related to special part in premium cars and they are really successful.
I know that it is difficult question without know the domain but thanks for all opinions.

Anyway without knowing the name I can't really give a price range, but from your post stating they are possibly the only end user and they own the other extensions.
I think you should be able to get low xxxx- high xxx.
How much traffic do you receive on the name?
Was it an inbound?

Don't be greedy, but don't sell yourself short. Keep in mind they may have most of the other popular extensions, but the .com you have is the one they will want.

Yeah, who reached out to who is important IMO.

If you reached out to them, I'd keep moderate and flexible expectations.

If they reached out to you, I'd keep high expectations.

Also, if they reached out to you (and they're a successful company), there's a good chance they'll reach out to you again in the future - even if they say no to your high offer now.

If you contact them first, you may run the risk of an action for a bad faith registration. It depends on the name and date of registration of course.

So:
1.I am wondering if I need to contact them or waiting to them. The story is that the domain is not the company name . they just redirect all domains to their company. Com domain. I can explain that like Apple will buy domains like cellphone. De/org/net.. And they don't have the Com. They redirect all colphone.domains to their apple.com. I don't have any Tm issue cause it is not iPhone.com domain, it's just the product. The domain received something like 30 visitors each month.

You have to identify who is buying, their buget, and ask them (or research) and then make a possible guest what your domain can do for their business. Price is up to the buyer's budget and the seller's expectation. Who is buying?

for me I will calculate based on PPC rate with adwords! if CPC high something like $5 per click, and volume more than 10k! I don't hesitate to ask a lot , for EMD domain, actually you safe! and I am sure there's a lot of people that that will buy your domain! but for KOD domain! better to sell fast rather than sorry!
