The domain ites.ai is currently placed in auction. How much do you feel it could finally fetch? The last highest sale of an .ai domain was $ 700000 and it was you . ai.

The trouble for INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ENABLED SERVICES. Is that ITES it is just abbreviation contrived by a Indian technology consultant. Seems he has contrived many others as well, there's a whole list of them. Unfortunately it doesn't have any traction. There's certainly No reason to believe it ever will.

Excuse me while I just go and Contrive a few dozen others.

Bugger, somebody got to the shorter and all-covering I.T for Information Technology before me
This is the whole point it is potentially brand-able since it need not have generic traction, as you say.

Are you still convinced that $499,000 is the right minimum price for your auction?

You must try to understand the difference between a common term like "You" and some abbreviation like "ITES" that you have to explain to us (this is most often a bad sign).
4L and still relevant to IT, holds potential who can optimize the use.

This is one of those appraisal requests where OP is stubbornly trying to convince other investors.

All in the eyes of the beholder, so some one might just have the same.

No problem, Please remember we are a pretty good humoured lot here on NamePros. It does take a Mind-blowing expectation or assertion for us to come out to play

The whole idea behind the name ITeS, is multiple use case options one may like to choose from and concentrate upon or might as well offer Ai integration for variety of applications, A-Z of IT related services, based on the vision template of products and services.

But thanks every one for your inputs. $7,00,000 is a lot of money, so getting to that was always doubtful hence this post, or honestly even 4,99,999$, as someone felt if is rite for the start , is indeed a big hope, but as ai domains and connotation domains have been selling heavy, there seemed a hope that with 4L, IT savvy, short name, easy on recall, just need a discerning end user, the likes of Dharmesh, who would be able to see the potential, as we did. Agree, would have to be lucky to find a matching discerning buyer, and it might need a lead time. Thanks everyone again.

Agree. YOU when it did got sold, it felt funny to most.
The argument that “YOU.AI” sold for such a high price and thus “ites.ai” should also command a high minimum price is flawed.

The value of a domain name is influenced by various factors such as brandability, memorability, and market demand.

Just because “YOU.ai” was valuable doesn’t mean that your domain “ites.ai” holds the same appeal or market potential. You simply should not compare to unrelated sales.

Setting an unrealistically high $499,000 minimum auction price will deter buyers, and it will lead to missed opportunities to sell your domain. This approach won’t advance your investment activities.

@Finest Domainer

Let me ask you this. If you had $499,000 to spend on a .ai domain, would ites really be your first choice?

We have been watching .ai development of .ai domains since Covid, past 2021 and especially since 2022. 2023 saw a big leap. Will share with you an interesting read https://originality.ai/blog/ai-domain-statistics. Please read it in your spare time. Ai domains are beating .com domains in pricing and will remain in demand, as co.'s are just waking up to integrate AI. Most of these are names sold have business plans. There is 72% growth expected until 2030. Most single traction savvy names, which 4L make, names are long gone. This only resulted in You.ai sale and Dharmesh is one of the leading Domain investor besides and IT industry in itself. So we did due diligence and hence the hope and the price.

I guess sent you detailed and educative study on ai domains, and the reasons we had the conviction that we needed to take the bold step of pricing it at 499,000. Not just wishful.
