How much can you expect from PPC?

Hello, I'd like to start building some sites, but I'd like to know if theirs a ball park for making money with PPC and similar advertising. For example, 500 hits a day = x dollars or 5,000 hits a day = x dollars. Thanks.

Nope depends on traffic, and clicks on the ads...

That is hard to say, since depending on the content of your site the CPC will be differen't with higher paying keywords. As well, CPC is harder to judge since people will actually have to click on your ads.

Any examples of what constitutes "not enough content"? I have a few minisites, and all that effort will go to waste if google starts prohibiting the sites.

I really don't thier exact boundries armstrong,But they seem be mainly real ticky about sites that offer very little content on the front page,And sites that have content which does not refer to the DN and service or feed it is offering,I would say having atleast two paragraphs of rich text with the same subject would fine.I have one that just has two paragraphs and they have'nt said anything yet.

Thanks, John. I hope Yahoo/Overture acts fast to create a similar publisher advertising solution like adsense. I hate the feeling of having to tread carefully around Google's TOS all the time just to avoid getting kicked out of the program.

I agree armstrong.Iam with you on the Yahoo/Overture publishing,I have heard rumors,But nothing concrete on thier launch of the publishing advertising.Hopefully they will get it in order and launch the program before december,That's what iam hoping for.

I just say, NEVER click your own ads or you'll get your account terminated.

Definatly don't click your own ads,It;s costing the advertiser money and google will cut you off quick.
