How much should I get for a 100*100 button on my blog? Traffic details inside

Hello NPers,

I have two blog and i want to sell graphical ads, as you see in many blogs in the sidebar, i was wondering how much can i get for my traffic

I am planning to sell 9 buttons

blog1: around 1000 uniques a day, 2200+ pageviews in adsense, 7500+ hits in awstat


Blog2: 3-5K uniques a day, 10K pageviews in adsense

Please let me know what you people think? how much money i can make from these blog by selling ads directly?

I own a blog, which is PR5 and just sold two blogroll links at $5 a month/per link at DP. I offered 125*125 image ads for $10, but I didn't get any offers. It was getting around 300 UVs a day, but people bothered more about PR than traffic.

Niche traffic

Your traffic stats are good but lets say your site was about something that attracted ayounger audience (torrents).

That would affect the rate. I would say thats alot of ad spots if you are trying to get the same potential ad category to fill up the spots.

Now some people would care about the PR but those traffic numbers are decent.

You should look into some affiliate programs with those types of traffic numbers depending on your audience.

So to answer your question you should look at the CPM (which means cost per thousands) for other sites in your industry. You might find that getting $10 per month would be a stretch if the average CPM is really low.
