Michael and David Castello's company, Castello Cities Internet Network, Inc. is booming thanks to a stunning domain and website portfolio that includes such gems as PalmSprings.com, Acapulco.com and Nashville.com. Yet it seems like only yesterday that the Castello brothers were poor bandmates rehearsing in a New York City loft. They were one floor above another new band called Blondie that would go on to achieve stardom. So would the Castello brothers – but their fame was to come in a completely different industry!

Duke - A very interesting profile and great writing on your part to bring this story to life. Really enjoyed it. Captivating reading on their lives and the timeline of their foray into domains. Made me think about what domains may have been available when I reg'd my first .com to promote music via the web.

The Castello's have/had exactly the right idea ... which was to go door to door selling ad space on their geo sites like PalmSprings.com. This requires lots of intiative and sales savvy, but the financial benefits are obvious. I was attracted to geo domains myself because of their natural appeal and relevance to people and businesses within a particular city. They found a very successful formula ... good guidance for others.

My attention was riveted to that story. I am a third generation resident from Italy. My family took its time adopting to technology and to see the degree of success from these two energetic brothers was inspiring indeed.
