A lot will by caught with simple registrar API. For instance, 5883.co that has no reservation placed if I understand Whois correctly.

So about 60% of all 5N.co are taken?

•••
60% will be when all 5N.co with "0" w/o "4" will be taken

•••
Interesting that about 41% of all NNNNN combinations have at least one 4.

•••
There is other interesting thing: ~13000 6N.co CHIPS taken
And there are ~32500 TOTAL 5N.co chips taken.
so 6N.co is ~40% of 5N.co now!

But some 5N.co domains with 4 are registrated e.g. 44455.co or 44688.co etc. so it can be that 50% of all 5N.co is taken

I have collected some stats with namebio.com about LLL.co CHIP Average prices
(I exclude all prices above $300 as unusual)

October 2015 - $145
November 2015 - $163
December 2015 - $214

looks like growing

What's the average price you all are putting on your parked 5n dot co domains?

Depends on sequence & chips of course but my lowest buy now $ is $888 + as I figure the more we ask the more we get if interest.

Why give these away and if in time they values increase we won't be kickin ourselves for selling too low if we hang on for awhile.

I realize many will be worth much less however but I can see 5n dot co being around $1000 + for the chips if the trend continues of course.

The 4 & 5 # dot com will drive the demand for lower priced other extensions to some extent I'm hoping. If I had the $$ I'd be buying 5 n & 5l dot com tho right now.

You are asking too much, if we will be lucky, we will sell 5N.co at that price in august 2016

Jeez I wish I had your crystalball?! You get very specific by saying august 2016 don't u think??
I'm not in this to give them away remember there's only one of each!

If a 4 n dot com like 8181 sells for $225k the similar 5n co 81810 logically should be worth approx say even only 2% of that value as a minimum, so u do the math!

Even at 1% that's over $2000!

1/2 % =$1000+

Am I missing something here or just greedy? I don't think so!!

Even if 81810.co doesnt sell at $1000+ it should not be up for sale at less than that right now as you are setting the bar too low for the hot market.

If domainers across the board ask for more we get more but if you price your domains low to flip well thats your prerogative.

Flip or not to flip is what it comes down to. Some domainers are happy with any roi so hence the low pricing they place and with all the numerics out there i see why but I'm not going that route right now.

Wait and see if no action then lower prices in time but now when its hot keep them high is my thoughts!

Thats all very well if your not sitting on that many but remember the renewals on these things are massive.

I'm hoping the dotCo registry lowers their renewal prices within the coming year.
