How long does it take to receive payment when you sell domain thru Escrow?

How long does it take for you to receive payment when you sell thru escrow? I hate to wait 33 days for payment at Tdnam.

Depends on which payment option you choose. With Sedo if you accept payments via PayPal you usually get paid the same or next business day after you transfer. If you get a check or do wire transfer obviously it is going to take a few days to a few weeks depending on where you live relative to where the escrow service is headquartered.

With sedo, if the payment note was not correctly issued by sedo and you didn't contact them, you would never get your money.

It's only after I contacted them, they allegedly corrected the problem.

I usually receive my mail in 3-7 days from anywhere in the US.

i just had an end-user sale and buyer asked to use as escrow service (it is in my sig, it is F-M-E(.)com)
it took me 28 days to have the money

but you have to keep in mind it also depends on buyer make his/her procedures as fast as you are making yours; if he doesnt read emails from escrow service he/she will be the cause of the delay

IMO escrow.com is a better choice. All depends on how fast seller and buyer perform their actions and how fast paypal/wire transaction goes. Recently I sold domain for $xxxx, whole deal was done in 7-10 days taking into account that buyer was in India (performed wire transaction) and I was in US.

I strongly prefer escrow.com. I have had deals that were complete in 3 days from setting up escrow to having the check in my hand. Usually it takes Sedo that long just to set up the transaction and invoice the buyer.
