i published a site yesterday "my signature"
and i did two post after couple minutes i checked site:..
yes in 2 mins they were crawled woww
how it works crawler has nothing else to do :bah:

Crawling is a minute by minute phenomenon. It will work almost instantlu on well indexed sites like blogger and more. While take some time for a newly created .com domains.

Some new sites are lucky to be crawled faster and some are not.

I have multiple sites and few of them were crawled super fast while others could not get indexed even after a week.

If you want your posts to be crawled this faster in the future too, then I suggest you update your site's content on regular bases.

i know some basics but WP is definitely great if you have little seo knowledge like me

Do you mean to say NP forum signatures have a lot of SEO value? Generally good webmaster forums are crawled every few hours. The top social sites like Digg et are crawled every few minutes.

no i did nt mean that
the site " my signature" wordpress theme 2.8 and it use its plugins etc.
my guess google bot s tend to crawl such blogs more than other sites ... just guess
besides these theme s well seo designed


i got another site i coded mostly
strangely this site is live about 2.5 months since then 11800 pages indexed

Using sigs is great but you can also use some of the more popular social websites to get indexed quickly. Its a good way to get new posts indexed along with new websites.

I agree with this.
You're lucky enough that your site was crawled as fast as that.
Some sites are not really lucky.
Some would wait for a couple of weeks months.

Regular updates is really a big plus.
