This happen is domain industry . All of these domains had good keyword so certainly they can be sold at that price.

None of them are developed sites. Or even point to other developed sites.
Just parked. Not even a hint of "coming soon" or "under construction".
I bet at least a few of these are phony sales.

With as profitable as Halloween is, and popular as it is to go to haunted houses or barns, not surprising to me that that did go that high to an end user. I have no idea if they marketed it well or just lucked into the sale, but certainly it gives a haunted barn credibility when advertising on the radio, or wherever, it will be easy for a passerby to memorize.

So, they get to advertize their offline business, and sell costumes online from costume affiliate programs, they'll make the c ost up in the first week next season....

I'm sure a bunch of those were drops that were bought at Snapnames, Pool, etc. That would explain them having no parking pages and no advertisement at all.
There is a very healthy drop market. A lot of speculators won't even consider buying from someone that actually wants to sell a name. They just wait until it drops and try to get it in the auction. All I can say is if you have good names, NEVER let them drop. You'll regret it. Hold out for the offer.

I have better domain names that have not received a single offer, so they must have promoted them to these figures.
