How far off if any are Sedo Appraisals?

Been approached by offer on a domain with a Sedo Premium appraisel. Gonna get another one but before i do whats anybodys past experience with Sedo's App. work? pretty close?

You hear all sorts of "opinions". I've seen more "They are too high", but recently there have been a few posts here about them being too low. But, they are opinions of course. When you pay for an appraisal, you're paying for someone's opinion. Admittedly, someone with great experience, but still, nothing you can't get for free elsewhere

I've been doing this for three years now and I couldn't tell you what my own names would sell for much less anyone else's. Domains are very unlike real estate where you can compare sales of homes with simlar square footage to get your price. Each domain is unique and many factors can come into play on what each would sell for, how much someone would be willing to take or offer for that matter. Take that with how ever many grains of salt you wish.

I hope this is not the case with your offer but be VERY careful but you have to be very wary of scammers right now.I have already been approached twice for different SEDO parked domains.

ya, if someone wants to buy from you but have you appraise first, its most likely a scam thats going around.

first;ly, email him back stating that youll have the domain appraised if he pays for it... which when he pays for the domain itself, you'll subtract the cost of the appraisal when he buys it.

we can easily spot these scams if you copy and paste the email here.
