Are Dot-in Domains Popular these days? I see a lot of Non-Indian webpages with .in domain names. But is it popular enough???

What do you guys think about dot in ???

The .co.in extension has been around for several years, so it's better known and more widely used than the newer .in which is getting recognition and might soon be preferred over .co.in.

Currently needs to be used more - the same applies to .infos.

Ask the same question in two years time and I would answer that it is "Awsome". However, it needs to make a few big sales and be exposed more before it becomes as "famous" as .com/net/org, .co.uk, .us, etc.

However, it means that India can make it's presence on the web and grow it's ecomony, which is good for any country.
