How does OVT works

Hello all,

my question i as follow.
i found this site to check ovt OVT Site

when i use the following keywords to search for OVT Video, IMG, Videoimg i get a big list of there ovt, for instance ti video which has an overture of 372000. but the com, net and org are already taken. other names indicate that the .net is till free.

have these names any value.

Overture is run by Yahoo and it shows approx what people search for in 1 month. Here is the there tool. http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/

They have this tool for companies searching for keywords to use in advertising, but domainers use it as well.

The best thing to use it for is to gauge what kind of traffic a keyword is getting, then you can base your domain name off of it. Overture also recordes a keyword with extension as well. Example JacLodge.com has an overture score of 63 with extension. The higher the number with extension the better! So if you assume that 63 people type in jaclodge.com into Yahoo's search engine alone last month, it's a good bet that around that many are typing it into there browser or more. Plus you have all the other search engines as well. I would guess, this name get's about 350-400 direct type in's alone. Hope this helps.
