discuss How does $59/69 BIN strategy mentioned by James Morfopoulos in recent DNW podcast work?

In a recent DNW podcast with Richard Lau and James Morfopoulos, James talked about how they move lower priced domains for fast turnover. He said, "A really good strategy is that you can list them on Afternic but at a very low price which will kick them into Godaddy Auction at a low price basically, say $59 or $69"

Does it mean if you lower the BIN prices of a domain listed on Afternic to $59 or $69, the domain automatically goes into Godaddy Auction which I assume will increase its exposure and get it sold in an auction? Has anyone tried this strategy of selling domains you plan to drop anyway?
