How do you put more than One group of AdSense ads on a single page?

I was wondering if anyone knows how to do this. I want to know how to put more than one group of adsense ads on a single webpage (without frames) I've tried putting a break in the HTML code and then inserting another block of adsense but it's not working.

The same code can be placed in multiple places, the second and third spots may not get any ads for the first few days or week. They should soon start to fill out
