How do you make an eBook?

What software do I need to make an eBook?

I know I can't write it in Notepad. I know it's opened in Adobe Acrobat.

I want to know what program I need to write it in.

go to download.com and do a search for ebook .. ebook editor - something like that. I wrote 3 ebooks - but don't remember the software I used - mine are .exe files though - not pdf's

You can download a program (not sure what its called) but it adds a PDF converter to your microsoft word printer list. Select that as a printer and print and it'll convert it to PDF. I remember getting it from download.com but don't have it anymore to check the name.

yes search for PDF printer in google. you will find plenty of applications

r if u can afford it and really want a PRO e-book then go for Adobe Acrobat 7 Professional version

You can use notepad, they don't have to be opened in adobe reader.

Right but with Notepad people can easily modify it.
