I am new to PHP and I just bought a script. I've been editing it all day and now I am starting to add to it. I want to know how I could make files of the skin editable in the Admin area. Is there a script or tutorial out there that I can look at to get a good idea of how to do this?

Hello iMersky,

Your question is very unclear. If you could provide more details I would perhaps help.

Anyway, the basic rule is that for any file to be editable/writable, it needs the have the right permissions. You can set the file permissions with your FTP client.

Give some more details about the script/admin panel and you'll surely get help.

Before we could answer your qeustion we would need to know which php script you are using.

As abdulmueid states you would also need the scripts to be writeable as well.

You can have your skin editable in admin area with some coding and some change in permissions in your skin template files. But as both of above said, we first require to know which script you are using as each scripts has different ways of coding as does the coding techniques.

Regards,

Admans.

It's my own script. I'm just looking for a little snippet of code on how to do this.
